Dr. Bruce K. Barrow

Dr. Barrow is a 1981 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City. After completion of his dental school training, he completed a post-graduate, general practice residency in Minneapolis, Minnesota with special emphasis on restorative dentistry. Upon returning to Kansas City, Dr. Barrow served on the faculty at UMKC School of Dentistry, and joined Dr. William McGrannahan, who had an established restorative practice on the Country Club Plaza.

Dedicated to professional and personal growth, Dr. Barrow is an alumnus and mentor of the L.D. Pankey Institute, world famous for advanced training in state-of-the-art dental care. He first attended the Pankey Institute in 1985 and has completed five of the six continuums, as well as several special studies courses at the institute. Additionally, in 1997, he completed a post-graduate program in esthetic dentistry at the UMKC School of Dentistry. Dr. Barrow is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, the Greater Kansas City Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Barrow feels continuing education is a critical aspect of maintaining a modern, technically advanced dental practice and attends many hours of continuing education each year, training under some of the country's best dental practioners and researchers.

Dr. Barrow's practice has been continually located in the heart of the famous Country Club Plaza for nearly 25 years and has developed and maintained a reputation for integrity and excellence.

APRIL JANSSEN

Born and raised in Georgia, has lived in Midwest for 14 years, happily married for 15 years to husband Pat, became proud parents in 2005 of daughter Chloe’. They also have 2 chocolate labs that are like part of the family. Over 17 years experience in dentistry, chair side assistant for over 10 years moved to front desk as appointment coordinator, and recently became the office manager. With experience in dental insurance coding and practice finance, April is able to help patients better understand their policies to receive maximum coverage for their dental claims. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, taking photos, and NASCAR racing.

ANNIE BUDIMLIJA

Annie Budimlija Annie was born and raised in North Kansas City. She is married and has a 2-year old son Lyndon. Her husband, Seth, was in the marine Corp and she was stationed with him in Hawaii for 4 years. She is currently living in Olathe, KS. Annie has been in dentistry for 2 years. She is a valuable asset to our practice at the front desk, also as an assistant. She enjoys building relationships with her patients.

LISA BUSH

Lisa has been in dentistry for 8 years. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients through quality dental care. She is trained and certified in CEREC and Invisalign. Lisa has also continued her education through various courses and symposiums throughout the years. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is helping cosmetically build a smile that a person can be proud of.

BECKY PECK

Becky is a dental hygiene graduate of JCCC and has been with the practice for over 5 years. Becky is dedicated to providing patients with the care and knowledge they need for their overall oral health. She is very family driven and appreciates working in an office where patients are treated and cared for like family and friends. Becky and her husband Justin have 2 daughters and live in Prairie Village.

CARI FARMER

Cari is a native of Nebraska who recently moved here from Omaha. Cari has been practicing for 4 years in both Periodontics and General Dentistry. She has a commitment to her patients in providing periodontal health and educating them how to improve their overall oral health. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon and Cockapoo, Daisy, spending quality time with friends and family, traveling, Ballroom dancing, and home decorating.
